What do we believe?
ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Bible is the infallible inspired Word of God, which presents the true history of the creation of the universe and humanity and contains the only correct prophecy of the ages to come, regarding heaven, earth, and the destiny of humanity. It is the undisputed authority for Salvation and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

ABOUT GOD

There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). God is the creator of heaven and earth and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the son (our Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (the indwelling Holy Spirit). Jesus Christ is God manifest in flesh and has a dual nature.  Jesus IS both God and man (Colossians 2:9, 1Timothy 3:16).

SIN & SALVATION

Sin is the transgression of the commandments of God. Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith, based upon the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The New Testament experience of salvation consists of repentance from sin, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, after which the Christian is required to live a godly life in this world (Acts 2:36-41).

CHRISTIAN LIVING

After we are saved from sin, we are commanded to Go! and sin no more (John 8:11). As Christians, we are required to love God and others. We are commanded to live holy, both inwardly and outwardly, and should worship God joyfully, in spirit and in truth.

ABOUT HEALING

The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10). The suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ made provision for the healing of our bodies. Matthew 8:17 says, …Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. Jesus said to believers, that they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). Is there any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him (James 5:14-16).

THE FUTURE

Jesus Christ promised that he is gone to prepare a place for his church and would return for them someday. For those who are ready, this will be the ultimate reward while for others, judgment. The righteous will inherit eternity in heaven, and the unrighteous eternity in hell (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11 15). Choose life with Christ!
